Puppy Socialisation Classes

Puppy Classes are taught in two of the practices owned by Russell Hatton in North London,  Canonbury Veterinary Practice and Pet Vet, Highgate.  Emily currently teaches at the Pet Vet venue on Wednesday evenings.  If you are a client of one of these practices, you can book a place in puppy class by calling the surgery.

 

You will need to bring your puppy’s vaccination card to your first lesson.  This is show that your puppy has had its initial vaccinations at least one week prior to its first class.

Puppies MUST learn social skills and how to behave around people and other dogs during the critical socialisation period which  ends around 12 -16 weeks of age.  A well run puppy class can help owners with this and give owners the support they need to raise a well adjusted dog.   Puppy Classes should give you and your puppy the chance to meet other puppies and people within a controlled environment, as well as teaching your pup some life skills.
